RTP TS M1 Day 44: Went to the weekly Healthy Family Class

We went to the Healthy Family Class at the YMCA, sans my wife with an eye virus of all things.

Also today’s HITT Cardio was different.  Extended duration as prescribed, but I adjusted my speed with two peaks and held my speed back to 90% max heart rate (220-age*90%) max 170 BPM for me.  It felt great.  I need to learn more about HIIT because I want to know just how hard can I push my heart rate up to or beyond 100% and for how long.  My wife cautioned me that over 90% causes cardio damage, however I say I need more info because I’m hitting >=90% for very short periods (only a portion of a minute within several HIIT intervals).
